Supervision

Could this image be an appropriate metaphor for the supervisory relationship,  between counsellor/therapist and supervisor?

Flying eagles at Cotswolds Falconry Centre was an inspired 60th birthday gift from my wife Sue,  and having this beautiful creature swoop down to land on one’s arm from several hundred feet up was a heart-stoppingly thrilling experience.

So,  if you’re a therapist or perhaps counselling student looking for supervision,  think of the way I work as being a hopefully nourishing base point from which to fly in your own way,  catching your own thermals and using your own wingpower to its best advantage.

I offer psychotherapy supervision to individuals,  in both London and Cirencester,  and as EMDR Consultant, can support you in your client work towards Accredited Practitioner or Consultant status.

My supervision diploma was gained in 2009 at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy,  the CCPE in London,  my alma mater college where I also secured my core Masters degree in Transpersonal psychotherapy in 2000.
